Description: A German 420mm railway gun captured by the Australians in the Battle of Chipilly Ridge. Four Americans "of a famous division" with the fourteen German prisoners they took in the Argonne. A German 210mm howitzer captured by Australians and Americans north of Saint Quentin. The ruins of Albert, showing the cathedral. US forces passing through Malancourt, near Verdun. German prisoners captured on Côte 304 being escorted to the rear. American lorries pressing through damaged roads while French troops work to repair them (note the Signal Corps camera truck). "Young Black Joe", groups of US Colored Troops, probably 92nd (Buffalo) Division, working by the roadside. A US pilot with his crashed Breguet Type 14, its propeller shot away. The Saint Quentin Canal between Bellicourt and Riqueval, showing the German dugouts along the banks, and men of 30th (Old Hickory) Division who captured them.
